• A degree in Education or in any other relevant subject from a recognised University.
• A degree in a relevant subject plus a post-graduate Certificate in education.

• In School or College: Heading single subject departments, setting and marking examination papers.
• Adult Education Centre: Inspecting literacy classes to ensure high standards.

Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications:
• A degree in Education or in any other relevant subject from a recognised University plus at least three (3) years post-qualification cognate experience.
• A degree in a relevant subject plus a post-graduate Certificate in education with at least three years post-qualification cognate experience.
• Relevant Master degree from a recognised University plus at least one-year pos-qualification cognate experience.

In the Schools and Colleges (deployed as Master Grade II): Teaching relevant subjects of specialization at the secondary level, teaching and supervising games and sports, and participating in other extra-curricular activities.
Adult Education (deployed as Higher Assistant Education Officer): Supervising and inspecting Adult Education activities in Local Government, and compiling statistics and other relevant data relating to Education.

Candidate must possess National Certificate of Education plus at least three years' post-qualification co experience.
