2 CARD ISSUER CADRE | Card Issuer 02 SSCE Ensuring sufficient stock of blank hospital cards and managing their secure storage. Processing requests for new or replacement hospital cards, verifying patient or staff information, and issuing cards. Maintaining accurate records of card issuance, including patient or staff details, card numbers, and issuance dates. Providing friendly and helpful service to patients and staff, addressing inquiries about card issuance procedures, and resolving issues related to card usage. Ensuring the security of blank cards and card data, preventing unauthorized access or misuse. Candidate must possess any of the following qualifications: WASC, SSCE and General Certificate in Education (O/L) in four subjects obtained in one sitting or five subjects in two sittings. SHB
3 LABORATORY ATTENDANT CADRE - (COLLEGES) | Lab. Supervisor 05 ND A laboratory attendant is responsible for preparing samples for testing, conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and documenting findings. They work under the supervision of the lab supervisor or lead scientist. They also keep inventories of chemicals, biochemicals, and all organisms, assist technical, academic, and regular staff, ensure cleanliness, and dispose of chemical and biological waste. 4 LABORATORY ATTENDANT CADRE - (COLLEGES) | Lab. Attd. II 02 FSLC - Assisting in the preparation of handicraft materials for therapeutiC use. - Carrying out general cleaning of the surrounding and equipment. - Attending to the toilet and other minor needs of patients like assisti in the movement of patient undergoing occupational therapy. - Helping in the transportation of patients. - Sorting, drying and distributing X-Ray films. - Performing under supervision, routine dark-room duties. - Carrying prescribed drugs and food to patients. - Dressing and treating wounds under supervision. 6 MEDICAL RECORD ASSISTANT CADRE | Medical Rec. Asst. 03 SSCE Organizing, filing, and retrieving patient records (both physical and electronic). Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of records, complying with data privacy regulations and hospital policies. Entering and updating patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Communicating with medical staff to obtain necessary information or clarify discrepancies in records. Retrieving and preparing records for medical staff and other authorized personnel. Collecting and distributing data base of physiological, emotional,sociological, cultural, psychological and spiritual needs, from available resources. B.Tech Performing, on a routine basis, simple diagnostic tests in the areas of Medical Microbiology, Virology, and Histopathology, Parasitology, Hematology, and Blood Group serology. Participating in the training of lower cadre (Laboratory Assistants and Medical Laboratory Technicians).
